Accepted shares: Shares successfully solved and submitted within the required timeframe. Foundry Zcash Pool members' accepted shares contribute to their proportional share of block rewards under the PPLNS model.
Stale share: These are shares submitted too late or after a block has been found. This is often due to high latency or connection issues. They are considered normal and expected due to the inherent network latency between the miner and mining pool servers.
Rejected shares: All shares that have been deemed invalid for various reasons:
-
Share above target (invalid share): This occurs when there's a problem with your mining software, necessitating inspection or proper configuration.
-
Duplicate share: This happens when a share is submitted more than once.
-
Other: Any other type of rejected shares often points to a bug in your mining software.
